One of the most commonly overlooked items when purchasing a new telephone system is the ongoing support and maintenance of the system. At Octagon, we are able to offer an industry leading maintenance and support service using our qualified and experienced engineers.

Our telephone system maintenance and support service is naturally available to all of our existing and new telephone system customers. We are also very happy to work with customers who are looking to switch service providers for the support and maintenance of systems purchased elsewhere.

What does phone system maintenance cover?

System maintenance typically takes the form of a maintenance contract with agreed service level agreements (SLAs). Different contracts specify different engineer response times to resolve an issue either onsite or remotely. You might consider a faster response if your system is business critical or indeed a slower one if it is not. Whatever the service level you choose, we will work with you to ensure that it is the right level for your business and you will be able to rest assured that your system is being maintained by a team who care about your system as much as you do.

A typical maintenance agreement will cover the following high level items but of course extends to many others and can be tailored to meet your specific requirements:

• Replacing faulty system parts

• System status monitoring

• Updates to software platform

• Remote diagnostics

• Dedicated support desk
